Shin entered the final round two srokes behind playing partner, Pressel. Playing in the last group, Shin made biridies on Nos. 4, 5 and 8 to post a three-under par 33 at the turn. Shin birdied No. 13 before making pars on Nos. 14, 15, 16 and 16, Shin, putting first, made her fifth birdie of the day on 18. Pressel narrowly missed a biride putt that would have forced a playoff.
